Over the years I have been involved in ‘Public Engagement and Awareness’ activities related to my research in the form of Public Speaking at workshops, events, conferences and schools, interviews by media – Inter(National) Press (Burger, Cape Argus, The Guardian, The Independent, The Times , Specialised & Trade Magazines and TV/Radio (Al-Jazeera, BBC News 24, BBC 11 O’ Clock News, BBC Radio 2 & 5, BBC Radio West Midlands, BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire, BRMB, ITV News, Bush Radio, SABC, SAFM, Sky News).

Invited guest to the Conservative Party to give a presentation on ‘Hydrogen for Transportation’. The event was organised by the Birmingham Science City and was chaired by Professor Dame Julia King.

It was a wonderful pleasure to have welcomed Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau and the Canada Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry, François-Philippe Champagne at the Institute for Hydrogen Research UQTR at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières today! We talked about the Institute’s Hydrogen R&D activities, from energy materials discovery, Canada’s critical and strategic minerals, systems engineering and integration for the transport, stationary and domestic applications to manufacturing/industrialisation in Canada. What a positive afternoon!
